The countryside and sports have been flowing through Jessie’s blood since before she could walk. Growing up in Millbrook, she rode her first pony at the age of three. The connection was immediate and horses forever became her passion. Inevitably she pursued a career that incorporates her love of horses and all things equestrian.
After graduating from the Millbrook School in 2005, she attended the University of Vermont where she graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Anthropology and double minors in English and Advertising. She most recently completed a post- graduate third level degree in Business Management and Marketing from the Dublin Institute of Technology while in Ireland, earning honors in the course in 2018.
Upon completion of college, Jessie was introduced to Gold Medal Olympic rider Phillip Dutton, and went on to work for him in 2012-2013. When she decided that a career as a professional horse rider was not her dream, Jessie looked to fuse her education with horses, and where better to begin this equestrian marketing journey than landing a job in Ireland with the global equestrian industry leader, Horseware Ireland. Packing her bags, she took the leap across the pond, and jumped head first into her new role. She gained extensive knowledge not only of the global equestrian industry, but also worked with a talented marketing team in which she was able to create award winning marketing campaigns that raised the bar year after year in the equestrian industry. Jessie developed lasting industry relationships, travelled all over Europe and the states to the best equestrian venues and trade shows, managed the brand social media, PR, as well as many video and photo shoots, as well as worked closely on brochures and advertising. After three and a half years with the company, Jessie went on to work with a small equestrian start up in Ireland, before returning back to the states to pursue her own company to bring her wealth of international marketing knowledge to her own clients.
With years of experience in marketing and having been on both sides of the industry fence, she is able to understand the different needs of brands, businesses, and professional athletes; and cater packages and consultancy to each different sector.
Beyond three day eventing, Jessie has a love for racehorses, showjumping, country lifestyle & sport. She loves spending time with her dogs, snowboarding, yoga, cooking and gardening, travelling whenever she can, and spending time with her family in Martha’s Vineyard. Besides having her own marketing consultancy, Jessie also enjoys sourcing horses in Ireland for clients in the USA.
